About the role:
We are seeking experienced Automation engineer with a strong background in SCADA, PLC systems to join our client team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems.
Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in engineering, project management, and people management are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems and PLC programs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA/PLC related issues.
  • Configuration on SCADA systems (800xA).
  • Participate in the commissioning and validation of automation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, maintenance) to achieve project objectives.
  • Experience with RTUs, SCADA systems, and VFDs using protocols like Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC DA, and OPC AE.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor technical education and knowledge of Siemens.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SCADA systems and PLC programming, HMI tools.
  • Experience with control system design and implementation in a regulated environment.
  • Expertise in functional safety principles and standards (Exida certification preferred).
  • Prosci certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects.
  • Budget and schedule management.
  • Programming languages : Python, Java, C♯, MATLAB.
  • Experience with Simens Simatic S7 1200, ControlWave Micro, DCS.
  • Experience with Modbus, DNP3, OPC.
